Job Title: Registered Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Joseph Brant Hospital.

About the Role:

This is a regular part-time position (0.6 FTE) in our CT department, working a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and extended tours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all CT procedures, including post-processing, with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of CT technology and its applications.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
Requirements:
  • Completion of formal radiological technology training with an approved school of radiography.
  • Recent post-graduate experience in performing all CT procedures, including post-processing, is preferred.
  • Active registration with the Canadian Medical and Radiological Technology Board of Examiners (CMRITO).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
