Job Title: Registered Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Joseph Brant Hospital.

About the Role:

This is a regular part-time position (0.6 FTE) in our Diagnostic Imaging department, working with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures, including post-processing, to diagnose and treat patients.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Completion of formal radiological technology training with an approved school of radiography.
  • Recent post-graduate experience in performing all CT procedures, including post-processing, preferred.
  • Active registration with the Canadian Medical and Radiological Technology Regulatory Council (CMRITO).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new challenges.
