Job Title: Registered Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Joseph Brant Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including computed tomography (CT) scans, to help diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout the imaging process.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Completion of formal radiological technology training with an approved school of radiography.
  • Recent post-graduate experience in performing all CT procedures, including post-processing.
  • Active registration with the Canadian Medical and Radiological Technology Board of Examiners (CMRITO).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
