We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at City Furniture & Appliances. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Tasks
- Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
- Receive and forward telephone or electronic enquiries
- Work on reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, and databases
- Office Management
- Sort, process, and verify applications, receipts, and other documents
- Process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically
- Send and receive messages
- Customer Service
- Provide general information to clients and the public
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Perform data entry
- File Management
- File material in storage area
- Label files according to retention and disposal schedules
- Label, file, and retrieve documents
- Organizational Skills
- Organize and schedule office work
- Prepare and monitor contracts and budgets
- Store, update, and retrieve financial data
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
- English language proficiency
- 35 hours per week
