Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Boston Pizza. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation staff to ensure efficient and effective meal preparation.
- Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to meet the demands of our menu.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that our food and service meet the highest standards.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our inventory management and menu planning.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
- Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and coverage.
- 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide our team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
