Job Summary

The Room Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of Guest Rooms and Public Areas. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide responsive and empathetic service to guests and colleagues
  • Ensure the well-being of guests and hosts by reporting potential hazards
  • Model Deerhurst Resort standards while caring for guests, co-workers, and owners
  • Develop recommendations for effective problem-solving and decision-making
  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks, including Public Areas, Guest Rooms, and Public Corridors
  • Respond to guest requests in a timely and empathetic manner
  • Communicate maintenance issues promptly
  • Maintain equipment in good working order and report any concerns
  • Ensure correct placement of Furniture, Fixtures, Amenities, and Equipment
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Physical Aspects of the Position

  • Able to occasionally work outdoors in seasonal temperatures
  • Able to lift, bend, carry, and move constantly 11 to 29 pounds, frequently 30 to 49 pounds, occasionally 50 to 75 pounds
