CB Canada Seeks Experienced UX Designer

CB Canada is looking for a skilled UX Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of our online investing platform.

Job Summary

  • Design and implement user-centered experiences across multiple platforms and user groups.

  • Conduct market and user research, analyze data, and present findings to inform design decisions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, and technology experts.

  • Follow an iterative design process, working closely with visual designers, content specialists, researchers, and technologists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.

  • Design and implement user interfaces that meet business objectives and user needs.

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and timelines.

  • Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and other design assets.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of work.

  • Proficiency in Figma and other design tools.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.

  • Deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies and principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the financial services industry.

  • Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and best practices.

  • Experience with complex industries and systems.
