Position Overview

As a User Interface Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing the visual components of our products, utilizing cutting-edge web technologies such as Angular and Typescript. Collaborating within a cohesive scrum team, you will engage closely with your colleagues and mentors, as well as with members from the Quality Assurance, design, and project management teams.

Our Work Environment

  • We employ a modern JavaScript technology stack, featuring Angular, Typescript, SaSS, and Redux. Our commitment to TDD and Quality Assurance is strong, and we utilize tools like Protractor and Jasmine for testing our codebase. While familiarity with all these technologies is not a prerequisite, there are ample opportunities for learning and growth within the team.
  • Our teams are small, typically comprising 4 to 5 developers along with a QA engineer. We collaborate closely throughout the design, implementation, testing, and quality assurance phases to deliver a robust product.
  • We encourage participation in all facets of design and implementation, allowing you to explore your creative side in design or delve into the intricate details of implementation.
  • Our culture promotes open-mindedness, and we support continuous learning and development across a wide range of challenges.
  • We have research and development offices in various locations and support flexible working arrangements.

What You Bring to the Team

  • A solid understanding of Typescript or JavaScript, or experience in backend server-side technologies (e.g., Java, Python), along with a strong capacity for rapid learning.
  • Excellent communication skills, as you will be part of a small scrum team and will interact with other departments and developers.
  • A genuine passion for software development coupled with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Additional advantages for experience with Angular, AngularJS, or similar front-end frameworks (e.g., React).
  • Extra credit for any application testing experience using Protractor, Jasmine, or similar tools.
  • Bonus points for server-side experience with Java.
