Job Summary
We're seeking a Manager, Privately Held Business Group to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you'll be responsible for providing solutions to our clients for accounting matters and working with them for growth in current business and financial conditions. You'll lead and execute client engagements, while providing exceptional client service to a wide variety of business sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide solutions to clients for accounting matters and work with them for growth in current business and financial conditions
- Lead and execute client engagements, while providing exceptional client service to a wide variety of business sectors
- Plan and lead teams, ensuring that client expectations are clearly communicated
- Proactive problem solving with the team and the client
- Be a leader in the firm by actively contributing to the development and execution of the office business plan
- Contribute to new business development by understanding Grant Thornton and its service lines, as well as utilizing your credibility with clients
- Participate in the coaching and performance management process of the practice by conducting timely performance reviews, providing ongoing feedback, and training to develop junior team members

- Experience working with owner-managed private business clients within a public practice scope
- Demonstrated success in business development, advisory, and team management
