The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality concrete products while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Batches concrete using computerized batching systems to meet daily production requirements.
  • Manages on-hand inventory of cement, aggregates, and admixtures to optimize production.
  • Receives and accurately records delivery slips for materials, ensuring timely receipt of supplies.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and efficiency of batching systems and surrounding areas through regular cleaning and maintenance.
  • Promotes a culture of safety, quality, and respect within the workplace.
  • Clean outs mixer at the end of each batch to maintain optimal equipment performance.
  • Performs other duties as required to support the team's goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Able to perform manual labor, including digging trenches and lifting heavy loads (over 50lbs).
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with technology, including computers, and comfortable navigating digital tools.
  • Ability to read and write fluently, with basic math skills.
  • Experience with hand tools, such as drills and air chisels, is an asset.
  • Must be flexible with scheduling and willing to adapt to changing needs.
  • Previous experience in the concrete industry is highly valued.
