Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary team at the East Coast Forensic Hospital. The successful candidate will provide assessment, diagnosis, consultation, and psychotherapy services to patients within the Psychiatric Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit and other programs as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a recognized MSc in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university program, be registered or eligible for registration with the NSBEP, and have a minimum of two years relevant clinical experience. Preference will be given to those individuals with violence risk assessment training/experience and those with experience in a forensic inpatient setting.
The successful candidate will demonstrate maturity and a capacity to work effectively with resistant and sometimes challenging client groups, as well as self-directed practice with an ability to work independently and as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting psychological and cognitive assessments, providing clinical supervision to students, and developing and presenting education programs to healthcare professionals and community organizations.

Hours and CompensationThis is a permanent full-time position with a salary range of $37.31 - $49.05 hourly. The successful candidate will also be eligible for recruitment incentives based on qualifying criteria.
