About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Ely's Fine Foods. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a catering firm
  • Attention to detail
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Work under pressure
