Wholesale Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at Primero Cigar Imports Ltd. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a network of reliable suppliers to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality merchandise.
- Negotiate pricing, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to maximize value for our company.
- Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth, and make recommendations to management accordingly.
- Select and purchase merchandise for resale, taking into account factors such as quality, price, and demand.
- Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on the latest products and trends.
- College diploma or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in wholesale buying or a related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
