Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at PhoneBox. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms
  • Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring quality and value for our customers
  • Supervise the work of other buyers to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • E-commerce experience
  • Knowledge of MS Excel and other spreadsheet software
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues
