Job Description

TASTE OF BATTLEFORD seeks an experienced Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our kitchen. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, leading a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Chef Duties: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and organize buffets and banquets.
  • Team Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a chef or kitchen manager in a similar environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate; formal culinary education preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
Working Conditions:
  • 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing kitchen demands.
  • Permanent employment, with opportunities for growth and professional development.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary of $50,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The estimated annual salary range is between $45,000 to $55,000, depending on individual circumstances.
