Job Title: Art Gallery and Frameshop Assistant

4Sight Search Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Art Gallery and Frameshop Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the gallery and frameshop team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to clients and ensuring the smooth operation of the gallery and frameshop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tidying and maintaining the gallery and frameshop spaces, including the mezzanine storage area.
  • Assisting with the installation and disassembly of exhibitions, including hanging artwork and applying wall vinyl.
  • Supporting custom framing, including organizing, shipping, and crating framing and artwork.
  • Providing excellent customer service, including assisting clients with their artwork and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Locating, moving, and storing artwork, as well as assisting with photography for large-scale works.
  • Breaking down and separating packaging for recycling or reuse.
  • Performing general administrative tasks, including emptying the dishwasher, keeping the kitchen tidy, and taking out the garbage as needed.
Requirements:
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a background in art, frameshop, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy artwork, as well as work independently with attention to detail.
  • Appropriate business attire required.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations, with a passion for art-related products.
