Job Title: Curatorial Assistant - Art Gallery Professional

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Curatorial Assistant to join our team at the Stephen Lowe Art Gallery (1987) Alberta Ltd. The successful candidate will assist in the research, handling, and storage of artifacts, as well as assist with the planning and development of travelling exhibitions and special events.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in the research, handling, and storage of artifacts
* Assist with the planning and development of travelling exhibitions and special events
* Classify and assign registration numbers to artifacts and supervise inventory control
* Prepare and mount skins of birds or animals for preservation, scientific, or display purposes
* Protect and care for cultural artifacts and collections during exhibitions, while in transit, and in storage

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree
* 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
* Equivalent experience

Work Setting:
