Job Title: Art Gallery and Frameshop Assistant

4Sight Search Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Art Gallery and Frameshop Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will provide exceptional support in the gallery and frameshop, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tidy and maintain the mezzanine storage and gallery/viewing space to ensure a professional and organized environment.
  • Assist with installing and disassembling exhibitions, including hanging artwork and applying wall vinyl.
  • Support custom framing, organizing, shipping, and crating both framing and artwork.
  • Assist with carrying clients' artwork to their vehicles.
  • Locate, move, and store artwork with precision and care.
  • Provide photography assistance for large-scale works.
  • Break down and separate packaging for recycling or reuse.
  • Empty the dishwasher daily, keep the kitchen tidy, and take out the garbage as needed.
  • Offer general support to gallery/frameshop staff and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in art, frameshop, or a related field is preferred.
  • A positive attitude and friendly communication style are essential.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy artwork.
  • Independence and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Business attire is required.
  • Passion for art-related products and a willingness to learn.
