Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they are aware of all food safety procedures and protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that all stock is up-to-date and that orders are placed in a timely manner.
  • Cleanliness: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that all surfaces and equipment are clean and free from debris.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week.

Language: English.

Job Type: Permanent.
