Job Summary:

The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising staff, assigning duties, hiring and training new employees, and managing inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Manage Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are rotated regularly.
  • Authorize Payments: Authorize payments by cheque, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately covered and that tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Resolve Issues: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Language: English.
