Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Jimmy the Greek. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and supervise the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that they are adhering to these protocols.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 3-4 people.

Work Environment: Our food service establishment is a fast-paced environment where you will be working in a team to provide excellent customer service and ensure that our high standards are met.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role. You will also need to be fluent in English and able to work in a permanent position with 35 hours per week.
