Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Jimmy the Greek. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our food service operations.
  • Train and supervise staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure seamless meal preparation.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize operations.
  • Prepare and review food order summaries for the chef to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supervise and inspect the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and coverage.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Our food service establishment is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team to provide excellent customer service and quality food.

Supervision

You will be supervising a team of 3-4 people and working in a permanent position with 35 hours per week.
