Job Summary:
CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Tax Analyst to join their team. As a Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for providing tax expertise and support to the organization. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable company and contribute to their success.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for researching and analyzing tax laws and regulations, as well as providing advice and guidance to the organization. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in resolving complex tax issues.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels. You will be a team player who is able to work collaboratively to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
Key qualifications for this role include:
- CPA designation
- Minimum 5 years of progressive professional tax experience
- Enrollment or completion of CPA In-Depth Tax Program considered an asset
- Ability to explain complex tax implications to a broad audience
- Independently research tax treatment and regulations with minimal guidance
- Experience in a high-growth environment, Financial Institution, or Fintech considered an asset
- Experience with NetSuite considered an asset
