Senior Tax Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join our team at Marmalade Recruitment & Resources Inc. in Vancouver. As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our financial strategy through expert management of tax provisions and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Tax Provision and Compliance Management: Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax provisions, financial disclosures, and supporting documentation.
- Audit and Reporting: Respond to internal and external audit requests, manage Canadian and international tax compliance filings, and engage in various ad-hoc tax projects.
- Financial Analysis and Strategy: Assist in the budgeting process for global tax payments, monitor intercompany balances, and manage updates to subsidiary capitalizations and surplus calculations.
- CPA designation and enrollment in the CPA In-depth Tax Course.
- 3-5 years of experience in tax practice, preferably within a multinational corporation or public accounting firm.
- Extensive knowledge of tax accounting and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness for occasional international travel.
