Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud-based systems. Your expertise in AWS services, including SQS, Lambda, ECS, Kinesis, IAM, Secrets Manager, RDS, and DMS, will be essential in helping us meet our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud-based systems using AWS services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code using agile methodologies, specifically Scrum
  • Ensure system reliability and observability through monitoring and logging
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies
Requirements
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud-based systems using AWS services
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, specifically Scrum
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with Docker, Terraform, Datadog, CircleCI, and Github
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Snowflake, SQL, Java, Javascript, Wildfly, Jira, and PagerDuty
  • Knowledge of system reliability and observability best practices
