We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Trusted Family Support Professional to join our team at Christine Hu. This role involves providing top-notch care for children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
About the JobThis is a part-time position requiring approximately 1-2 years of experience in childcare. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child development, be fluent in English, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a clean and organized living space.
- Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting positive behavior.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, fostering independence and self-esteem.
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to safety protocols.
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting socialization and fun.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, meeting dietary needs and preferences.
- Supervise and care for children, providing individualized attention and support.
- Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children, offering empathy and understanding.
- Help children with homework, supporting academic success.
A First Aid Certificate is preferred but not required. We value candidates with relevant certifications and training.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities- The job requires repetitive tasks, such as household chores and childcare responsibilities.
- The successful candidate must be physically able to perform these tasks without fatigue or strain.
