Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Earls Restaurant (Grande Prairie) Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes to our customers.

About the Role

This is a permanent position working 36-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and possess excellent leadership skills to train and mentor junior staff members.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, sales, and inventory levels to optimize profitability.
  • Cook a variety of dishes on a regular basis, including specialty meals for guests or special functions.
  • Source and requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Prepare meals that cater to customers with dietary restrictions.
  • Train staff members in food preparation, cooking techniques, and handling procedures.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and physical demands include standing for extended periods. We require individuals who can work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

What We Offer
