The AFP Golden Horseshoe Chapter is seeking a seasoned Executive Director to spearhead its philanthropic endeavors, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. This dynamic leader will be responsible for driving strategic growth, fostering meaningful relationships with stakeholders, and guiding the organization towards achieving its goals.

Job Summary:

  • Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive vision for the Foundation's major gifts and partnerships program, ensuring alignment with the Board's objectives.
  • Fundraising: Identify, cultivate, and solicit key donors and partners, securing significant contributions to advance the Foundation's mission.
  • Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders, promoting the Foundation's impact and reputation.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a dedicated team of professionals, empowering them to excel in their roles and contribute to the organization's success.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Foundation, ensuring efficient management of resources, effective governance, and adherence to best practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in fundraising, philanthropy, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in securing major gifts and partnerships.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, non-profit management, or public administration.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license or equivalent, with flexibility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Compensation and Benefits:
