About Us

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience, to join our nursing team as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN). If you have a passion for working with seniors and possess excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Job Summary

This full-time or part-time RPN position is available for Evening and Night Shifts at our Long-Term Care facility. As a member of our nursing team, you will work under the direction of the Registered Nurse and report to the Director of Care while providing nursing and personal care to residents. Your duties may include charge nurse responsibilities in assigned units, ensuring compliance with legislative standards, company policies/procedures, and rules/regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing and personal care to residents in accordance with individual plans of care.
  • Assume charge nurse responsibilities in assigned units as required.
  • Comply with all legislative standards, company policies/procedures, and rules/regulations.
  • Monitor resident health and note any changes in condition appropriately.
  • Participate in restorative care programs and training non-registered nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
Requirements:
  • Registered with a regulatory body.
  • Experience working with seniors and unregulated care providers an asset.
  • Education and/or experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, community/complex/long-term care an asset.
  • Strong written and oral communication, critical thinking, care coordination, time management, and customer focus skills.
