PepsiCo is seeking highly motivated and ambitious students to join our Supply Chain Engineering Co-op Program.

About the Role

This 4-8 month co-op opportunity is an excellent chance for you to gain hands-on experience in improving production efficiencies, innovating business solutions, and implementing process changes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for motivating frontline teams, problem-solving issues, and removing barriers to help us achieve our goals.

You will work closely with experienced mentors to develop your skills and learn to develop others. This is an ideal role for those who are eager to make a tangible impact on globally recognized billion-dollar brands.

Responsibilities
  • Building people capability through effective employee relations, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel
  • Applying theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of operations, repair procedures, trouble shooting and preventative maintenance to support facility equipment reliability
  • Executing Annual Operating Plan for Production
  • Achieving performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization and quality
  • Tracking key performance indicators/costs, anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets
  • Overseeing and assuring facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with all quality management programs and food safety systems, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs)
Qualifications
  • Available to work from September 2024 - April 2025
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sciences or similar program
  • Second year plus students preferred
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with and leading people
  • Proven problem solver and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Collaborative team-player with a “roll-up your sleeves” approach
  • A passion for and a demonstrated commitment to extra-curricular activities and/or community involvement
  • An agile individual who takes initiative and welcomes change with a positive attitude
