About the Opportunity

Cenovus, a leading Canadian oil and gas company, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op to join our collaborative team. This exciting opportunity will provide you with meaningful, diverse, and challenging assignments working alongside industry-leading professionals.

As an Electrical Engineering student, you will be part of a driven and collaborative team completing important projects while receiving mentorship, knowledge, and experience to develop the skills you need to build a successful career in the energy sector.

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Legally eligible to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application
  • Available to begin work in May 2025

About the Role

You will have the opportunity to support various business units or roles within Cenovus, including Electrical Engineering, Project Engineering, Facilities Engineering, and Instrumentation Control and Electronics (ICE).

Responsibilities will vary depending on your placement but may include running weekly meetings, maintaining action logs, supporting design and engineering, triage and defining MOC Scopes, and developing smart processes for large volume engineering investigations and MOCs.
