Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and assisting radiologists, other physicians, and senior technologists in the performance of routine and non-routine radiological procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and assist in the performance of radiological procedures such as General Duty, Mobile, Fluoroscopy, OR, Central Line Placements, and Pacemaker Insertions.
  • Assist and relieve Senior X-Ray Technologists and Charge Technologists in areas such as on-call and CT.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized school of Medical Imaging Technology.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Medical Imaging Technology Program, eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.A.M.R.T.) and registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.A.M.R.T.) within three months of hire.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous related pediatric experience.
  • Familiarity with PACS and RIS.
