Job Description:
As a General Duty Nuclear Med Technologist, you will be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary imaging team. You will perform operational activities related to nuclear medicine imaging services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services under the direction of the Nuclear Medicine Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks related to nuclear medicine imaging services.
- Work collaboratively with the imaging team to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from a recognized accredited institution.
- Registration and certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Certification with the International Society of Clinical Densitometry (ISCD).
- Current BCLS certificate.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and display independent judgment.
- Ability to respect and promote cultural diversity and confidentiality.
