You will be the primary point of contact for communications with customers, suppliers, team members, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage project timelines, open issue lists, and resource needs and allocations.
  • Coordinate and manage project communications with customers, suppliers, team members, and management.
  • Use MS Project and/or other tools to create specific project tasks, establish milestones, and make adjustments as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure project targets are met, including quality, delivery timing, budget, and other key performance indicators.
  • Support the multi-disciplinary approach to equipment design and development.
  • Manage project-related open issues and task management lists.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001 standards, as well as Johnson Electric policies and industry standards.
  • Create and manage project SORs for internal use, aligned with customer and quality expectations.
  • Create and manage quality checklists in line with SOR and Machine Build Specification requirements to ensure equipment is fully tested prior to shipment.
  • Debrief management on current progress versus budget and timeline.
  • Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Technical college degree or 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing admin project management in Canada.
  • Good understanding of automated solutions and assembly processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
  • Computer literate (MS Office suite – Excel, Word, Visio, Project, Access, Outlook).
