The Nova Scotia College of Nursing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to fill the role of Chief Executive Officer and Registrar. As the head of the organization, you will be responsible for bringing strategic vision and regulatory expertise to a complex and dynamic context.

Key responsibilities include leading a talented and committed team, fostering collaboration and high performance, and ensuring effective governance of the nursing profession in collaboration with the Board. You will also be responsible for making high-profile decisions within a complex and publicly accountable environment.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the nursing profession and regulatory frameworks, as well as deep insights into the current trends and challenges in the nursing profession and public health. They will be highly inclusive, strategic, innovative, and visionary, with exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.

As the Chief Executive Officer and Registrar, you will play a key leadership role in advancing the quality of care delivered to our communities through effective regulation.
