Job Title: Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Silver City Construction Ltd.

Job Summary

The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects from start to finish. This includes estimating costs and materials, recruiting and hiring workers, coordinating and scheduling activities, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed, and establishing methods to meet work schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on construction sites
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Recommend personnel actions to ensure effective team management
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have necessary skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction or a related field
  • Basic security clearance
  • Flexibility, organized, and team player
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
