About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.

Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves providing quality Speech-Language Pathology services to patients, consistent with professional standards. You will be responsible for prevention, identification, evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, counselling, treatment, management and education of communication and swallowing disorders. Additionally, you will provide education and supervision to students and professionals, as well as conduct research.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality Speech-Language Pathology services to patients, consistent with professional standards
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and diagnoses of communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Provide education and supervision to students and professionals
  • Conduct research in the field of Speech-Language Pathology
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited/recognized university
  • Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba (CASLPM)
  • Certification in CPR training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits
