At Alstom, we're transforming the way people move. As a Project Configuration and Change Management Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement configuration and change management processes, tools, policies, procedures, and instructions throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining the Configuration Management Plan and corresponding documents.
  • Planning and organizing Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.
  • Providing configuration and change management reporting and indicators.
  • Identifying and defining configuration items.
  • Maintaining accuracy and completeness of configuration items data throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supporting team members in using configuration and change management tools.
  • Managing and publishing configuration baselines.
  • Collecting and verifying Change Requests.
  • Coordinating and federating relevant actors regarding configuration and changes.
  • Generating and maintaining KPIs reports and suggesting improvements.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of configuration and change management processes.
  • Familiarity with requirements management principles.

Competencies and skills:

  • Operational effectiveness/accountability.
  • Collaboration/communication with transparency/teamwork.
  • Relationships with engineering teams.
  • Communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
  • Open to innovative engineering, new equipment, methods, tools.
  • Good knowledge of subsystems included in a railway transport system.
