We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist II to join our Rehabilitation Services department at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and educating patients requiring occupational therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide occupational therapy services in inpatient, outpatient, and continuing care settings
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Graduate of an accredited Canadian school of Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Current license with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC
- Preference given to therapists who belong to the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists
- Competitive hourly rate of $52.95
- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service
- Comprehensive benefit packages, including MSP, extended health/dental, and a municipal pension plan
- Financial support for moving expenses available for eligible positions
