Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As an Occupational Therapist II, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide long-term care occupational therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation. You will also contribute to the organization's overall goals and participate in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to clients, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve client-centered care.
  • Contribute to the organization's overall goals and participate in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education.
  • Develop and implement programs to promote functional independence and enable clients to achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Provide education and consultation to clients, caregivers, and staff to promote client-centered care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
  • Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
  • Valid BC Driver's license.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
