About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at UNITED FLOORS. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality flooring installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered and prepare them for installation, including measuring and marking surfaces.
  • Read and Interpret Plans: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Install Flooring: Measure, cut, and install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors.
  • Inspect and Repair: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings and estimate costs and materials.
  • Prepare Floors for Installation: Prepare floors for installations, including employing knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to lift heavy loads, bend, crouch, and kneel regularly.
