Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Floor Covering Installation Specialist to join our team at UNITED FLOORS. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

  • Inspect and prepare surfaces for flooring installations, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Measure, cut, and install carpeting, flooring, and resilient coverings, using blueprints and technical drawings as necessary.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project, considering factors such as labor costs, material prices, and logistical challenges.
  • Perform direct glue-down and double-bond carpet installations, meeting high standards of quality and safety.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in floor covering installation, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with additional certifications or training in flooring installation highly desirable.
