At UNITED FLOORS, we are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of floor coverings for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, using blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to ensure a smooth installation process
  • Install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors to the highest standards
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to maintain the integrity of our installations
  • Estimate costs and materials for each project, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • This role requires physical stamina, as you will be handling heavy loads and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and maintain hand-eye co-ordination is essential
