Job Title: Floor Covering Installer

United Floors is seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, and resilient flooring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlayment and underpadding
  • Install carpeting, hardwood, and resilient flooring
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Efficient interpersonal skills
  • Judgement
  • Organized
  • Team player
