About the Opportunity

WSP Canada's ERI (Energy, Resources and Industry) Sector is seeking a Project Manager to support the growth of our Industrial and Resources group in our Sudbury office. This position will be responsible for supporting the project management team in delivering engineering deliverables on complex multidisciplinary projects from start to finish.

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Resourcing and Budget Management
  • Coordinating Engineering Deliverables with discipline leads
  • Maintaining man-loading planning
  • Preparing and maintaining project schedule and cost control reports
  • Managing project changes
  • Preparing and maintaining HSE and Quality procedures for each project
  • Handling Owner and Stakeholder Reporting, including representing WSP at meetings, presentations, and addressing issues raised by Owners/Clients
  • Responding in a timely manner to matters relating to the project scope of work
  • Capturing and reporting lessons learned from previous projects and those from the respective phases of the projects under their control
  • Leading and/or supporting Business Development efforts in proposal preparation, including scoping projects and communicating to the main discipline leads
  • Handling other duties as assigned/required
About You

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with:

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering
  • At least 10+ years of experience in a consulting environment focused on Industrial clients and projects
  • At least 3 years of Project Management experience managing multidisciplinary projects
  • EIT, CET, or P.Eng. designation
  • Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player
  • Able to easily interact with clients in a multi-disciplined environment
  • Valid driving license
