Executive Sous Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our team at HIATUS.
Job Summary:The Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all menu items are prepared to a high standard, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and mentor junior chefs, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Maintain accurate records of food costs, inventory, and labor hours.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and materials.
- Work closely with the Front-of-House team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- 2+ years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fine dining establishment.
- Proven track record of menu development and implementation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Familiarity with kitchen management software and technology.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- A competitive salary of $85,000 - $95,000 per annum, depending on experience.
