Job Title: Executive Sous Chef - Fine Dining

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our team at HIATUS.

Job Summary:

The Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all menu items are prepared to a high standard, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor junior chefs, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, inventory, and labor hours.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and materials.
  • Work closely with the Front-of-House team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fine dining establishment.
  • Proven track record of menu development and implementation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Familiarity with kitchen management software and technology.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
