Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at YUZU BOWL AND KITCHEN LTD. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that our dishes and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils
  • Operate dishwashers and wash dishes by hand
  • Store and organize kitchen supplies and ingredients
  • Prepare and package take-out food
  • Portion and wrap food items
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean and prepare food
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces and equipment
  • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Receive and store supplies
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sharpen kitchen knives
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Will to learn and take on new responsibilities
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The language of work is English.
