About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Vancouver Pizza Kitchen (Kelowna). As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Operate dishwashers and wash dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand
  • Replenish condiments and supplies, and maintain inventory levels
  • Prepare and package take-out food, and portion and wrap foods for service
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including floors, walls, and equipment
Requirements
  • Will train
