About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team at AnyDay Plumbing & Renos. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in all aspects of carpentry, from building foundations to installing roof systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and build structures in accordance with building codes and regulations
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on best practices
Requirements
  • Carpenter Trade Certification
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) training
  • Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Carpenter Red Seal Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
  • Confined Space Entry Training
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
