About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Hexagon Construction Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure accurate execution.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, to create high-quality structures and features.
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, ensuring precise fit and finish.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and deadlines.
  • Operate company-owned vehicles for transportation to and from job sites.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toed safety boots and a hard hat.
Requirements
  • Reliable and team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various environments.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in various locations, including construction sites, and may be exposed to physical demands and environmental factors.
